OPEN-PIT EXTRACTION PROCESS
The mine plan and material characteristics determine the sequence and method. These are typical extraction stages; processing after ore delivery is a separate operation.
Review the mine plan, extraction sequence, haul routes and stockpiles; match production planning to equipment capacity.
Establish access to the working face and remove overburden and waste within the planned extraction area.
Depending on the rock, mechanical excavation or specialist drilling and blasting prepares material for loading.
Load ore and waste separately and transport each to the destination defined in the operating plan.
Record and control delivered material, manage stockpiles and direct ore to the project’s crusher or processing plant.
Monitor working areas and roads, manage water and dust, and restore completed areas according to the mine plan.
EXTRACTION EQUIPMENT
Fleet selection depends on material, haul distance, road conditions and production plans. Specifications and supply availability are assessed for each project.

HOW WE WORK
Our operational focus connects the mine plan with daily work at extraction faces, equipment deployment and haul routes.
Define the scope around the mine plan and site conditions, coordinating working faces, excavation sequences and equipment needs.
Excavators, loaders and trucks form one cycle. Loading capacity, round-trip times and discharge locations must be planned together.
Select equipment for the material and haul route, with servicing, maintenance and spare-parts support as key operational requirements.
Track progress, record material movement and coordinate with the client to align the operating plan with actual site conditions.

Exploration investigates the location, quality and extent of a resource. Extraction concerns removing and moving mineral material during mine operations. This section presents multipurpose RC and CS rigs and collaboration with Ilias Zhengissuly in down-hole surveying and exploration drilling.

SPECIALIST EXPLORATION COLLABORATION
Ilias Zhengissuly specialises in down-hole surveying and exploration drilling, collaborating with Asman Parseh Mining Company in these areas.
Auscan began operating in Asia in 2010 with its first branch in Kazakhstan. It later expanded into Mongolia and Uzbekistan, followed by Iran in April 2024.
Auscan provides coring, directional, reverse circulation, geotechnical, environmental and water-well drilling. Its management team brings more than 200 years of combined industry experience.

Specialist methods help reach the target accurately and preserve sample quality in challenging ground.
A multipurpose rig for RC and CS exploration drilling programmes. Rig configuration, tools and equipment are selected for ground conditions and project requirements.
Single- and multi-shot cameras, magnetometers, north-seeking gyroscopes and MWD instruments track borehole position and support monitoring during drilling.
Triple-tube wireline core barrels help preserve sample structure in sensitive formations such as coal, clay and fractured rock.
Compressed air travels through double-walled rods and returns the sample through the inner tube. This supports fast sampling while reducing contact with the borehole wall.
Auscan’s initial Iran mobilization plan lists four rigs: two Sonmak RX-6 units and two Hanjin DB30 units. Its wider Asian fleet has more than 20 rigs available for project-specific mobilization.
